Spinach artichoke dip is my favorite appetizer! It's great for game day or as a really easy snack that everyone loves. Whenever my husband and I go out to eat, we enjoy trying different variations at restaurants. However, I often find myself feeling really full after eating the restaurant's version because of the heavy ingredients like mayonnaise and sour cream.

That's why I decided to make a healthier version using a blend of Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and sour cream. This still adds a pack of flavor without tons of added fat. This copycat Cheesecake Factory Spinach Dip recipe is packed with protein, and the spinach adds lots of nutrition!

One of the best parts about this recipe is that it can be made in the air fryer. Air frying the dip creates a crispy texture on the outside without the need for a lot of oil, making it a healthier alternative to traditional fried versions. Plus, this copycat recipe is super easy to make ahead of time. Simply mix all the ingredients together, transfer it into an air fryer-safe dish, and refrigerate until ready to serve. When you're ready, just pop it in the air fryer for 15 minutes and it's ready to go!

Healthy Swaps to Spinach Artichoke Dip:

  • Swap the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt. This adds extra protein too!

  • Use more frozen spinach, this will add more fiber!

  • Air fry it, don’t fry it! This allows the dip to get super golden brown on the outside, without added fat.

What to Use as a Dipper

  • I love using the Back to Nature crackers, the crispy wheat ones. I honestly can’t get enough of them. They are so good!

  • You could also use naan or pita bread.

  • Crispy bread works as a dipper.

  • Or even fresh veggies like carrots or celery!

Tips for Success

  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature. This will allow the mixture to cook evenly and also be mixed more easily!

  • Make sure to warm the frozen spinach and remove the excess liquid from the spinach. This will allow the dip to be really creamy without extra water in it.

Cheesecake Factory Spinach Artichoke Dip Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/3 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

  • 3/4 cup spinach, frozen

  • 1 can artichoke hearts

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper

 
 

How to Make Cheesecake Factory Spinach Artichoke Dip

Add the frozen spinach to a bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds until thawed. Place in a paper towel and squeeze to remove any liquid.

Drain artichokes then chop them slightly. These pieces don’t have to be perfect, just roughly chopped so people are not getting huge artichoke pieces in their mouths.

Add the rest of the ingredients into a large bowl and stir well.  

Transfer it into an air fryer-safe ramekin. I will link the one I use below. Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese on top. 

Air fry at 350F for 15 mins, until the preshredded cheese melts on top.

Remove from the air fryer carefully and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Use your favorite crackers for dipping! 

Storage

Transfer any leftover dip into an airtight container. Place it in the refrigerator and it will stay fresh for up to 3-4 days. When you're ready to enjoy it again, simply reheat it in the air fryer or microwave until warmed through.
