Easy Vegan Blender Protein Waffles
Who doesn’t love waffles? If I told you I could teach you how to make easy waffles - in a blender - in less than 10 minutes that are vegan, gluten free and high protein… would you believe me?
Here’s why I like this recipe…
It only calls for 6 ingredients.
It makes 5-6 large waffles, so enough to feed a whole family OR to have leftovers for the week!
Everything is thrown into a blender so it’s easy clean up!
It is packed with plant based protein.
The toppings ideas are endless!
It is basically like having a bowl of oatmeal, but in waffle form.
It’s very affordable!
It’s vegan, dairy free, soy free, gluten free and egg free!
Let’s talk about the ingredients:
Oatmeal:
Oatmeal is easy to find in stores, and you can use either quick cooking or rolled oats.
Try to buy organic when possible because it can be heavily sprayed with pesticides!
If you are gluten free, make sure to purchase a certified gluten free brand!
Protein Powder:
Use any flavor protein powder. I have used vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter and even collagen (unflavored). Use about 2 tablespoons for this recipe. If you want to use more, just add more liquid!
I love using Nuzest Protein. It’s plant based, made from pea protein. It’s one of the cleanest proteins on the market!
Here are the ingredients: Pea protein isolate, Cocoa powder (organic), Natural flavors, Thaumatin.

Baking Powder + Apple Cider Vinegar:
This keeps this fluffy when vegan!
Since we don’t use eggs in this recipe, the apple cider vinegar helps fluff the pancakes up.
Just make sure you leave the batter sitting in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before cooking!
Ripe Banana
The riper the bananas the better!
These are perfect for those brown bananas you are about to throw out.
Sometimes, I purposely set 2 bananas aside to go brown just so I can make this recipe!
Milk of Choice
You’ll need some liquid for this recipe. I have used almond milk, oat milk, hemp milk, coconut milk and even water!
You can even do 1/2 milk, 1/2 water. Just any sort of liquid to allow the batter to come together.
If you’re looking for an easy plant based milk recipe you can make at home, try my homemade oat milk.
