Air Fryer Crispy Parmesan Salmon Bites Ingredients
1 lb salmon
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
How to Make Air Fryer Crispy Parmesan Salmon Bites
Wash your salmon filet, then place it on a paper towel. Dab it dry to remove any moisture.
Use a sharp knife to remove the skin of the salmon. Cut the salmon piece into 1-inch cubes. Make sure the salmon is cut into equal, bite-sized pieces so it all cooks evenly.
Add the salmon cubes into a bowl. Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil, the grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
Toss it all together to coat the salmon.
Place the seasoned salmon bites in an even, single layer in the basket of the air fryer.
Air fry at 380F for about 6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the air fryer and drizzle with your favorite dipping sauce. I like using a creamy garlic sauce with melted butter.

You can use both fresh and frozen salmon for these crispy parmesan salmon nuggets, depending on what you have on hand. Fresh salmon is a great option if it's available, as it tends to have a brighter and more vibrant flavor. On the other hand, frozen salmon can be just as delicious and convenient, especially if you don't have access to fresh seafood.
When using fresh salmon, make sure it is of high quality and hasn't been sitting in the refrigerator for too long. Look for firm flesh and a pleasant sea-like smell. If you choose frozen salmon, thaw it properly before cooking by transferring it to the refrigerator overnight. This will ensure that the fish thaws evenly and maintains its texture.

Yes! Simply mix them with the grated parmesan and spices in the coating mixture. Start by adding about 1/4 cup of panko breadcrumbs to the parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. If you prefer extra crunch, you can lightly press the seasoned salmon pieces into the panko mixture to help it stick.

To make these crispy salmon bites in the oven, follow the recipe instructions up until cooking. After coating the salmon cubes in the parmesan mixture, preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly coat it with cooking spray. Arrange the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer on the baking sheet, spacing them out for even baking. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
