Chocolate Almond Butter Superfood Fudge
Sometimes we just need a no-bake refreshing dessert.
I have to be honest, I love a good baked good. However, sometimes we just need a no-bake refreshing dessert that will hit all the same feels.
I have made healthy fudge before, and this recipe has inspired me to create even more flavors because it's SO DANG EASY. Why? The ingredients are pantry staples! This recipe is vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and can be easily substituted so that it's paleo and keto. I always walk through the recipes I make on my Instagram stories! Sometimes we just need a no-bake refreshing dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 tablespoon Detox Organics superfood powder
- 2 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Substitutes
- Almond butter: Any nut butter will work but this may change the flavor!
- Detox Organics Superfood Powder: Any chocolate protein powder or other chocolate superfood powder should work!
- Maple syrup: Try your favorite sweetener, I recommend stevia, coconut sugar, brown sugar, or date syrup!
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a non-stick sauce pot on low heat. Melt for 5 minutes until combined.
- Carefully, spoon the fudge mixture into 12 parchment paper-lined muffin tins (mini or regular work fine).
- Now sprinkle with your toppings of choice! I used cacao nibs + hemp hearts + chia seeds!
- Freeze for 30 minutes, then enjoy!
- I would recommend storing these in an airtight container in the freezer for best results! When you are ready to eat, just thaw it for about 3 minutes, and it will be creamy and decadent!
