With this simple method, you can cook your salmon straight from frozen, saving you time and hassle. For this recipe, I used a sauce made with mustard, olive oil, and seasoning to keep the filets moist and flavorful. It adds a nice zesty quality to the salmon, enhancing its natural flavors.

After cubing the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, I toss them in the olive oil to coat, using garlic powder, onion powder, ginger & salt to season. Honey Garlic Salmon

Last but not least is my Honey Garlic Air Fried Salmon. This recipe only calls for 4 ingredients and is ready in under 10 minutes, making it just another one of many quick and easy air-fried salmon recipes.

Honey Garlic Salmon features a deliciously sweet and sticky sauce. It caramelizes and coats the salmon fillets to make a beautiful, shiny glaze. I use soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and freshly squeezed lime juice to make the sauce.

I love serving Honey Garlic Salmon on white rice with avocado and veggies like roasted broccoli and cauliflower. However, feel free to customize the sides to your preference!

Jazz’s Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Salmon

The easiest way to achieve perfect salmon is by using an air fryer. The hot air circulates around the salmon, ensuring it cooks evenly and quickly. The cook time typically ranges from 7-9 minutes at 390 degrees F, depending on the thickness of the salmon. Here are some additional tips to make sure you salmon comes out delicious every time!

Seasoning and Preparation

Start by seasoning your fresh salmon with simple seasonings—black pepper and a little bit of chilli flakes are some of my favorites. Place the salmon skin side down in the air fryer basket. For an easy air fryer salmon recipe, drizzle some fresh lemon juice over the top of the salmon filets for added flavor. This simple preparation ensures delicious results with minimal effort.

Checking the Internal Temperature

To ensure your salmon cooks perfectly, use a meat thermometer or an instant-read thermometer. The ideal internal temperature for salmon is 145 degrees F. This will give you the juiciest salmon with a flaky texture.

Delicious Salmon Sides

Pair your air-fried salmon with air fryer asparagus, air fryer brussels sprouts, or air fryer broccoli for a nutritious, low-carb meal. These sides cook in less time and complement the rich flavors of the salmon.

Storing Leftover Salmon

If you have any leftover salmon, store it in an airtight container to keep it fresh. You can easily reheat it in the air fryer for a quick meal prep solution.

FAQ’s

  • The cooking time for air-fried salmon typically varies depending on the thickness of the fillet and your personal preference for doneness. However, as a general guideline, you can cook salmon in an air fryer at 390°F (200°C) for about 10 minutes.

  • When it comes to cooking salmon in an air fryer, a small amount of oil is sometimes necessary to prevent the fish from sticking to the basket. Olive oil works perfectly for this purpose. Its high smoke point makes it suitable for cooking at high temperatures, like those required for air frying.

  • When it comes to seasoning air-fried salmon, a few key ingredients can take your dish to the next level. Paprika, garlic powder, and pepper are my favorite seasonings to use when cooking air-fried salmon
